Sunaina Singh is a Lighting Designer, Drafter, and Programmer who is deeply informed and intrigued by the intersection of technology and computing logic in her work. She is pursuing a dual BXA Degree Lighting Design and Logic + Computation. She is fascinated by projects with multiple design layers, immersive projects, projects working with music/sound. 

At CMU, some of her credits include Antigone(Lighting Designer), La clemenza di Tito(Head Electrician), Mary-Kate Olsen is in Love(Lighting Designer), Mr. Burns, A Post-Electric Play(Programmer), A Bright New Boise(Head Electrician), amongst others. 

Outside of CMU, In the Summer of 2025, Sunaina was the Lighting Design Intern for the 107th MUNY Season. In 2022, she was awarded The Pat McKay Diversity in Design Scholarship.

While partaking in the curriculum and production processes at the School of Drama, Sunaina also has a minor in Physical Computing from IDeaTe at CMU. Through this Sunaina has been able to integrate her education to create art focused, technology facilitated projects, one of which was demo’d at MuseumLab in the Winter of 2024.

Outside of Theatre/Art, Sunaina is super involved with the Taekwondo Club at CMU and was President and Co-President her 3rd and 4th year respectively.
