Beyond theater, Sukie explores character and costume design in digital environments. She previously worked as a Character Animation Intern at Hypergryph, where she translated real-world garment patterns into digital workflows through modeling, rigging, and shading to reflect character costume accurately. At Shanghai Dramatic Art Center, she supported a world-premiere production which integrated robotic performers. She worked to coordinate costume design with robotic movement to ensure safe and seamless stage interaction.
Sukie is deeply interested in how costume helps to craft physical performance and stage presence. She is passionate about creating and building garments that respond to movement while supporting the collaborative rhythm and practical demands of live theater.
To stay creative and balanced for her design practice, she also enjoys water sports such as swimming, diving, and surfing, and holds certification from the International Surfing Association.
