Natalie Lawton

Stage and Production Manager

2025, she/her BFA Drama, Stage and Production Management

Natalie (“Nat”) Lawton (she/her) is graduating this spring from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in Drama – Stage & Production Management. She has worked on productions of all scales, from intimate black box performances to large mainstage shows, thriving on creating spaces where artists of all kinds can do their best work. Balancing structure with flexibility— whether it’s feeling the breath of a show or keeping a team steady under pressure— she’s pretty good at reminding people they’re human.

Originally from Central Oregon, Nat has a deep love for the Pacific Northwest and its evergreens, mountains, and sweeping views. While theater has been her mainstay, she also works in weddings and events, bringing the same meticulous care, adaptability, and crisis-management skills to high-stakes celebrations.

Nat is drawn to teams that value stage management as an art form, lifelong learning, and, of course, a good sense of humor. When not in a theater or running an event, she’s most likely tending to her ever-growing collection of houseplants and terrariums or hanging out with her two cats, Oakley and Clementine.
