Born in San Diego and raised in rural Baxter Springs, Kansas, Matty Palmer didn’t have a direct path to drama. A shy kid growing up, the theatre helped him find his voice, but it wasn’t until after he spent two years studying neuroscience in St. Louis that he realized drama was his life. When he’s not acting, he is probably not losing on chess.com, playing guitar, watching the original seasons of Unsolved Mysteries, or enthusiastically talking about his best friend, Remy, his family’s hairless cat.
