A dual citizen of Canada and the United States, Mathilde would describe herself as an interdisciplinary artist and adventurer. Growing up in Milwaukee Wisconsin, she found her love for acting through making short films and performing in her teacher’s original plays in recreational classes. Mathilde’s experience with Dramatic Adventure Theatre in Ecuador and studying Shakespeare at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, have fostered her love for street theatre and classical text. Acting to Mathilde is about freedom, community, and wonder. Aside from acting, Mathilde is a vegan activist and environmentalist, musician, songwriter, lover of nature, writing and anthropology. Xir hopes to find new ways to expand
theatre/performance through continued evolution, representation and intentionality in all they do.
