Marion Mongello

Stage & Production Manager

2026, she/her/hers BFA Drama, Stage & Production Management

After an early exploration of the performing arts early on, Marion found her place backstage in her Orlando, Florida, middle school theater. What began as a step away from the spotlight quickly revealed her strengths: organizing people, solving problems, and keeping the show running. She discovered that these things came naturally to her… and backstage in the theater felt like home.

A collaborator with a determination to uplift and connect artists to tell a story, Marion has built her practice around the belief that great art begins with great relationships. Whether coordinating talent, supporting producers, or holding space for a creative team, she is driven by the human connections that make storytelling possible and the logistical precision that lets those connections thrive.

Marion has built experience across theatre, opera, film, and television. Her producing program through NYU Tisch London complemented her minor in Film and Media Studies, sharpening the cross-disciplinary lens she brings to every production. Her most sustained project has been Playground: A Festival of Independent Student Work, where she has served as Festival Manager for three consecutive years, overseeing scheduling and logistics for more than 40 pieces across up to five concurrent venues. Playground taught her to navigate complexity at scale, streamline systems under pressure, and help ambitious ideas actually land.

During her internship at NBCUniversal’s Late Night with Seth Meyers, Marion supported the talent and production teams in a fast-moving television environment. She tracked Broadway and Off-Broadway bookings, managed guest availability, and delivered time-coded clips to support rough-cut editing — work that deepened her understanding of how talent, logistics, and editorial vision have to move in sync.

At the heart of her work is a commitment to connection, both within teams and with audiences. She is building a career in arts management as a talent manager, assistant director, and producer for television, helping teams feel supported, shows run smoothly, and creative work reach its fullest potential. She’s excited to continue working on projects that balance creativity, collaboration, and thoughtful execution.
