Jordan Pincus is a multi-media artist and designer committed to ambitious visions and bold, immersive projects. A bona fide theatre kid, she grew up in New Jersey as a performer and competitive dancer while also training in art. With great passion for both themed entertainment and live theatre, she aspires to bring joy and inspiration to audiences of all ages. As both a performer and a designer, she has contributed to both sides of the storytelling equation — the conception, planning, and execution of a story, as well as the realization of engaging a live audience in that story.
A lifelong musical theatre geek, she is motivated by her love of the medium. After experiencing Rob Howell’s design for Matilda the Musical at age nine, she knew for certain she wanted to design live environments for the rest of her life. During her time at Carnegie Mellon, she scenic designed CMU Drama’s spring musical, Company. She was also the scenic and puppet designer for CMU School of Music’s production of Handel’s opera Alcina.
Since age twelve, Jordan has run her own freelance business, creating graphics, artwork, and videos for individual consumers, businesses, educational institutions, and non-profits. She is the sole designer and graphic artist for the new, original board game Computer Junkyard®. It is available for worldwide distribution and has already sold in over 50 countries.
When she’s not performing the entirety of the Prologue from Into the Woods as a one-woman show, you can find Jordan rewatching her favorite movies, belting in her car, or adding to her collection of bird-related knickknacks.
