Born and raised in South Florida, Ella grew up inspired by the music of joy and celebration that followed her family from Cuba. After moving to Pittsburgh, she discovered that her favorite season is fall, but she is still notoriously bad at dressing for the cold. Currently, she is developing her original piece that explores the dilemma of identity in a family divided by the Cuban revolution.
