Cole Schubert is a director and producer of modern plays and films. His work as a director includes: A Bright New Boise (CMU Drama, 2025), Bless Me, Bowie (CMU Drama, 2024), Sludge Play (CMU Drama, 2023), The Computer Room (CMU International Film Festival, 2023), Missed Connections: A Craigslist Play (CMU Studio Theatre, 2023). As Assistant or Associate Director: Lear (CMU Drama, 2023), Adult Things (CMU Drama, 2023), The End is the Future is Now (CMU Drama, 2022). And as Producer: There are no Diving Pools in Hell (Fish Tank Productions, 2024). He is graduating from the Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama’s Undergraduate John Wells Directing program, and continuing his time at CMU in the Heinz College Masters of Arts Management program through spring 2026.
