Becca Perry is a writer and dramaturg from Houston, Texas, with a passion for contextualizing and strengthening stories through research and thoughtful feedback. She strives to bring levity and a collaborative spirit into every room. In her work, Becca seeks to initiate critical conversations through comedy and help audiences find common ground. 

At CMU, she served as Assistant Dramaturg for The Adrienne Kennedy Plays (November ’21), as well as Dramaturg for The Caucasian Chalk Circle (October ‘23) and The Dumb Waiter (March ‘25). She also worked in the Education & Community Engagement department at Houston’s Alley Theatre from May 2022-January 2023 and June-August 2024, focusing on curating educational materials for student matinee audiences.
