Alexander Farrell is a Mexican-American Stage and Production Manager based in Pittsburgh, dedicated to fostering inclusivity and collaboration in storytelling. With a passionate commitment to the theatrical arts, they challenge traditional expectations of his role by creating environments where diverse voices can thrive, leading to innovative and impactful artistic expression.
Throughout his career, Alexander has embraced leadership roles that showcase his adaptability and dedication. As Technical Coordinator for CMU’s Playground Festival, he managed the coordination of technical elements across 48 independent productions. They have also supported multiple productions in management roles, contributed to the School of Drama’s marketing and fundraising efforts, and recently served as Production Manager for “Lorca in a Green Dress”, CMU’s first offsite production in years.
Looking ahead, Alexander aims to bridge the gap between art and industry, using his skills to craft engaging theatrical experiences that resonate with wide audiences and foster meaningful relationships within teams. He credits much of his growth to the generosity of mentors and friends and actively seeks opportunities to support and uplift others in turn.
