Alumni Brief: Siân Heder’s ‘CODA’ Wins at Sundance

Siân Heder (CFA ’99) was awarded the Grand Jury Prize for U.S. Drama as well as a director’s award at this year’s Sundance Festival for her film ‘CODA.’ The film – which centers around a hearing child of deaf parents – also garnered the Audience Award and a Special Jury Award at the Festival.

Heder’s ‘CODA’ also made headlines when Apple acquired the rights for a festival record breaking amount at Sundance.
