MFA VIDEO & MEDIA DESIGN, 2020

SooA Kim has accrued several impressive credits since graduating from CMU’s MFA Video and Media Design program in 2020. A talented motion designer and live entertainment animator, her work has been seen on stages and screens worldwide. She has worked on several projects with DF Productions, LLC, including the Grammys, Emmys, Golden Globes, NBC Universal Upfronts, American Music Awards and the BET Awards. 

She has several theatre credits as a main/associate projection and video designer, including the Broadway revival of “For Colored Girls…”, “Kimberly Akimbo” at the Atlantic Theater Company, “The Fre” at the Flea Theatre, “The Handmaid’s Tale” at Boston Lyric Opera, “Wicked Brasil” and “Drag: The Musical” at the Bourbon Room in LA.
