BFA VIDEO & MEDIA DESIGN, 2019

Cassidy is a freelance virtual production specialist, project manager, and self-described “general pixel person” currently based in Los Angeles.

As a Video & Media Design undergraduate student in the School of Drama, Cassidy led teams as a media designer, system engineer, and project manager, gaining broad production experience. She took part in multiple exploratory mixed reality projects in conjunction with the Entertainment Technology Center, allowing for a sandbox collaboration between theater makers, programmers, developers, and more. She was able to explore her technical interests alongside developing as an artist in a rigorous design program.

Formerly a member of the ARRI System Solutions group, and a mixed reality (xR) specialist with disguise, she has extensive experience with virtual production projects across the live, broadcast and film industries: advising workflow processes and system design, assessing product viability, and consulting on content creation and optimization.

Cassidy is the recipient of the Digital Entertainment Group’s Hedy Lamarr Achievement Award for Emerging Innovators.
