Logan Donahue

Lighting Designer, Programmer, Draftsperson

2026, he/him BFA Drama, Lighting Design

Logan, an Atlanta native, is a lighting designer, programmer, and draftsperson specializing in Theater, Concerts, and Dance. Currently in his final year at Carnegie Mellon University, he’s completing his BFA in Design and Production with a concentration in Lighting Design.

He thrives on transforming ideas into immersive visual experiences—using light as both a scientific tool and an emotional language. Logan blends technology, storytelling, and human psychology to craft moments that captivate audiences and leave lasting impressions.

Although born in Georgia, Logan spent most of his childhood in Alabama where he attended a performing arts middle school and high school that introduced him to lighting and theatre in general. He spent his free time doing community theatre that allowed him to explore freely in lighting and be introduced to the creative/collaborative process.
