Xinyi Huang is an Asian female playwright and screenwriter. She is dedicated to writing for minorities and her generation. Her work always creates a sturdy, surreal, screwed-up world – and hopefully everything works out in the story’s end. She has written a series of original plays and screenplays. Her original play The Noble House was produced by BIPOC Theatre Group in Illinois in 2022. Her original screenplay St. Anthony’s Fire was produced by the Illinois MACS project in 2023. She will earn a MFA in Dramatic Writing from Carnegie Mellon University in May 2025.
