Apriah Williams

MFA TECHNICAL DIRECTION, 2022

A 2022 graduate of the School of Drama’s MFA Technical Direction program, Apriah Williams is an experienced set designer, project manager and technical director. Apriah’s theatrical experiences include working as a Project Manager while at CMU, designing sets, technical directing shows, fabricating scenery and props, painting scenery, technical designing, estimating shows, and more. 

She has also branched off into TV/Film, working with the wardrobe department on season 2 of the HBO show “Ballers”. A recipient of the KCACTF Award for excellence in scenic design, Apriah currently works as both an Associate Production Manager at advertising agency Jack Morton Worldwide and the Technical Director of New York City Ballet.
