Beth Zamborsky
Beth Zamborsky has been at Carnegie Mellon University since 2003, teaching Scenic Painting and Drawing courses to Undergraduate and Graduate students. She has, concurrently, been the School of Drama’s Paint Shop Manager.
Beth is a Master Scenic Artist with professional experiences ranging through Theatrical Scenic Painting to scenic and prop painting and design for television and film, designing and developing museum installations and scenic painting work on theme park installations.
Just a few of her favorite venues outside of Carnegie Mellon have been as Scenic Charge Artist for the Steppenwolf Theater in Chicago, Designer and Creator of an installation for the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum, and as an Artist and Designer in the Art Department of the Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood show. At Carnegie Mellon, Beth enjoys using her skills and years of experience to help Drama students become strong Designers and Theater Technicians.
Outside of Carnegie Mellon, Beth continues her lifelong work as a Fine Artist and painter.
