Jill Wadsworth is an Acting Instructor, Director and Actress. Her 40 years of teaching acting technique on the college and high school level at Carnegie Mellon University, Point Park University Carnegie Mellon Pre-College, and Director of the Augusto Boal Workshop. She has created and directed numerous inner-city programs on the high school and middle school levels in the Pittsburgh Public Schools, encouraging excellence in education through the arts.
In the Pittsburgh area Jill has directed 30 plus productions, many of them receiving critical acclaim. She has received two National awards for her work in the prevention of child abuse. Her acting credits include numerous roles with such companies as Playhouse Professional Theatre Company, John Hancock Repertory Company and Ron Satlof Repertory Company. Her film credits include: Dominick and Eugene (with Tom Hulce), No Place Like Home (with Christine Laht/Jeff Daniels) and Alone In The Neon Jungle (with Suzanne Pleshette).
